I’ve (somewhat) recently come across a link to the full episode list of the now defunct television series Total Recall 2070. Please check it out and, if it looks like something you’re interested in, join one of the active communities dedicated to the show.

*cough cough* —->

More Total Recall 2070 News

I’ve received word of another community for Total Recall 2070! Please surf over to this one as well by clicking here.

Thank goodness for reruns. While the show may be beyond coming back, hopefully, a fanfic community of some kind can be generated.

Total Recall 2070 News

A good and kind Netizen has recently started a blog pertaining to all things Total Recall 2070.

The LJ Community, Total Recall 2070, so far has a list of links still active regarding the show as diligently collected by Bordo.

So why not surf on over and give it a gander? Many thanks and hugs go to Bordo for doing all the hard work of surfing out the links. Perhaps you can help?

Cheers,
KaliTime Camaralzman

…Lunatic Fringe… is No More

Due to a combined lack of activity and LiveJournals recent policy issues, …Lunatic Fringe… is discontinued.

As a recommendation, might I suggest anyone who had an interest in the LJ community join One Human Tribe instead? Both are/were meant to be targeted at the same types of discussion, just using different formats.

The main page for the One Human Tribe Yahoo! group page may be found by clicking here.

Have a great day,

One Human Tribe – “Semi Open” List

In the hopes of driving up membership, One Human Tribe is now a “semi open” e-mail list.

In essence this means that while membership is open, one must still reply to the “Age Confirmation” e-mail before a new member is allowed to post to the list. Failure to do this will be met with automatic denial after fifteen days. If anyone, spambot or otherwise, gets through the first hurdle and posts objectionable material as considered by the group rules standard, then they will also be denied.

Hopefully, this will bring more people in while still keeping a safe, comfortable list.

If you’re new to this blog then please feel free to check out the list of groups via links and the signup buttons in the left sidebar.

Cheers and Thanks,

Reflexive Ideation is Now In Blogshares

Greetings all,

It’s been quite a while since the last update. My apologies but sometimes life gets in the way of fun.

As of today, this blog is now a part of the Blogshares network. Blogshares is a fantasy stock market that trades in blogs and blog topics/demographics, which are referred to as Industries in the game.

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while but I initially didn’t put this blog in the system. At the time, I thought that it might be taken more seriously if I didn’t have the link to the game but now, I would prefer to have it there. Aside from feeling right, it’s more of an accurate reflection of my personality.

The added bonus of having it in game is that it will be traded on and will, most probably, get more hits than it otherwise would have done had I continued on the route I started doing in adding it to link directories.

So, I hope you all enjoy and please try out the Blogshares game. You’ll find it quite pleasing. :-)

Group Topic Ideas

In thinking of ways to generate conversations on the groups and group blog I maintain, I’ve been thinking of topics that might get an opinion out of people. As I am going back to school very soon, Self Education is certainly going to be getting a good deal more attention than it has in the past. I’m hoping that it will grow as a place where people can discuss different methods of education as well as have interesting discussions about the various academic subjects out there.

With TR2070-DAFT, I’m going to test the waters of the more inclusive policy I set in place a few months ago by inviting people who are fans of other genres into the group. It’s my hope that it will help foster conversations and generate new ideas.

….Lunatic Fringe…. in being the only one among the things I moderate which is signifigantly different, in that it’s a group blog rather than an e-mail list, is a bit more difficult to figure out. In finding topics, I’d have to not only figure out what would get the current members posting but also figure out which topics would generate enough interest in the group that others will be interested in joining.

One Human Tribe, it seems to be growing…slowly. Now that there are a few more members, I’m going to start encouraging people to introduce themselves in addition to running topics. I won’t be posting the PGRDF or anything like that (though I won’t refuse peoples right to use it) but I might do a short survey which will be sent along with the welcoming message for new members to fill out. I will also be posting here a bit more rather than leaving it to the hope that people will post themselves and generate discussion.

I will be doing this next Saturday as that’s now my only free day until late December.

Age Confirmation E-mails

While it pains me to do so, I’ve been turning away quite a few new members from One Human Tribe and mainly for an otherwise trivial reason. As is indicated on the membership page of the groups, a response to a particular e-mail is required in order to obtain membership to the group. Without the Age Confirmation e-mail, memberships are automatically rejected whether otherwise valid or not.

My reasons for this are simple:

1. This is an Adult list and checking the age of every single member is of paramount importance to me to ensure that someone underage does not float in either accidentally or on purpose. I can’t control the misleading statements of some people but I can at least put that rule right up front to ensure that the general policy is known by even outsiders.

2. I hate Spambots. It is nearly impossible for the Spambots to get past this method of joining. Even if they can get past Yahoo! prevention protocols, they rarely get past mine. I do this to ensure that every member has a free and clear list to feel comfortable in without the fear of annoying e-mails.

So, if you’re considering joining or you’re currently a member and thinking of asking a friend, please remember the seperate e-mail that must be responded to in order to join our list.

Sincerely,
The Moderator

Membership Drive

I’ve been making appeals for members to the One Human Tribe group on my 360 Blog and so far, I got one from a friend via that method and another via personal invite to a friend of mine.So far, I’m being pretty general in the topics but I might start truly geeking out soon and post more obscure stuff just to test who is there. It might actually start a conversation to do so, so I guess it’s worth a shot.

Guidelines and Contact Information

Most of the lists I maintain have very few standing rules. I count on Humans acting like Humans when they join my lists and basically giving what they expect to get. About my only real pet peeves would be the obvious one: Forcible Coercives.

The term Forcible Coercive is a umbrella definition I use for all of the things and behaviors I consider to be disrespecting of the basic right of boundaries and personal individuality. These things can include:

 1. Stalking/Trolling
 2. Spamming
 3. Vicious attacks on others
 4. Posting of inappropriate content which is defined as unconsensual material.

There is very little else that I have a problem with. As long as you can stay away from those four big ones, you should be fine on any list I moderate. Transgress and I will boot you faster than you can blink. I am highly unlikely to boot you unless you flagrantly violate numbers one, two, and/or four. In the case of vicious attacks, we all have our bad days and if it’s a simple case of having keyboard brain, I’m willing to forgive. If it’s more than that, then booting/banning is highly likely. If you’re unsure as to whether what you’re about to post qualifies, then please e-mail me about it.

If you have questions/comments/complaints or you just would like to get in contact with me, please use the following methods:

 1. AIM – Pythagorax
 2. ICQ – 55315951
 3. Yahoo! – xantedeschia
 4. MSN – kalitime@hotmail.com
 5. E-mail – xantedeschia@phreaker.net

I promise you, unless I am very ill or away from my computer, you can find me at those. I would recommend the e-mail though as I’m most likely to check that frequently. My homepage also has more contact information available in the highly unlikely event that none of the above illicits an answer.
